(More customer reviews)After looking at a couple of comparable products, I chose the Autoloc CK4000 mainly because it did not require the addition of switches. It was ordered and quickly arrived from Amazon.com as advertised.
The product itself was much more misleading. Although each vehicle will present different problems it took almost 10 hours to install into a 2007 Kia Rio (the kit advertises that it can be installed in less than 1 hour).
The wiring to the front doors was too short and approximately 18" had to be added to the wiring harness. The Kia also uses cables (instead of rods) to control the lock/unlock functions of the front doors which presented another challenge.
The instructions from Autoloc were almost non-existent and the website did not offer any additional help. You are pretty much on your own.
After installation the kit seems to work well, but unless you are skilled in some fabrication and soldering techniques, this is something that should be left to the pros.
